Episode II
Episode II
The warrior king of Zazau believed the diamond belonged to his ancestors.
According to his family’s ancient tradition, their greatest ancestor had once made a pact with a powerful serpent spirit.
He believed the diamond was connected to that pact.
Zazau eventually marched against Katangua.
The conflict lasted for weeks.
Katangua was eventually overwhelmed.
The red diamond was taken.
Territories were absorbed into the growing Zazau kingdom, and the survivors carried the memory of their defeat into future generations.
But they never forgot the diamond.
For centuries, Katangua waited.
And while they waited, they prepared.
They formed alliances with powerful marine kingdoms.
Their people learned the stories of their ancestors.
Their warriors trained.
Their spiritual leaders searched for signs.
Eventually, the seers declared that the time had come.
The diamond had to return.
